  2. It says that emotional deprivation 'may result in autism' but that is not correct. I am assuming that is simply how they thought it worked back then?

  3.  @mikeg4691  Ah.. that sucks. Imagine the people blaming themselves then. I think stress and abusive can further the symptoms of autism, but it can further "bad behaviour" in any child, so that is incorrect then. Thanks for the update on the info.
