Most people that I socialize with are sortof...walking boxes of lingering emotions waiting to happen.
So I don't have to read anything to know what's up.
I'd have a discussion about my work, with the supervisor and she'd be gritting her teeth, raising her eyebrows angrily and shouting the words.
('Everything is just chaos! Nothing ever goes according to plan! Our organisation sucks!')
Whenever I then politely pointed out that what she was angry about had little to do with my work and more with the sudden breaking of the coffeemachine that morning, her lower lip would tremble and her eyes would water.
I would then speak the last magic words; 'It's not about my work, is it? It's about everything else here?' and then she would burst into tears and genuienly spill all of her troubles, from exes to boyfriends to migraines to stress and missed tv-shows.
After this she'd be nice for the rest of the day and then the next day it'd continue.
I just expect anyone around me to be completely crazy and vent the anger about everything on everyone.
And that's how I 'read' that they're just always angry.
It's like a balloon with dirty toiletwater, that's being blown up, more and more, throughout the day.
Better stab through the pokerfaces and have everything leak out when the balloon isn't big yet, because if you wait, it'll burst when it's big and cover everything in shit.
