  1. As a Dutch kid, I often watched American cartoons (sadly, most of the networks are in the pocket of American broadcasters) and I remember my mom flipping out, when I was drawing. She asked; 'Emma, what did you just draw?!' and I said; 'A chair with a bowl-hat and wires. Not sure, I think it's a massage-chair. "Cow and chicken" were turning the switch and their faces got all sleepy and weird and their tongue hung out of their mouths." My mom was horrified that I, at age 6 or something, was drawing execution-chairs, because the American cartoons were displaying them as a source of entertainment and hilarious deaths. I still can't really grasp the fact that a life in America is worth about as much as a life in the Sims. Is that because there are too many people, that the value of a heartbeat goes down? Isn't that a nasty feeling...knowing your life isn't worth much?

  2.  @rorz999  I thought it was birthcontroll as well, but it turns out it's the injected female-hormones in cowmeat. The cows pee the majority of it out, back into the water. That's also why some people in the USA that eat a lot of hamburgers can get man-titties. Not just from the fat, but from the hormones.

  5. That is why they said, it should not be a revenge-based punishment. Punishment is not to unleash your own revenge and anger onto the person. In that case, go eat a Snickers.

  6. Maybe China is not the greatest example...youknow, with the whole Uyghur situation, mass sterilisation of Uyghur women and toxic plastic-waste in childrenstoys, causing deformities in baby's. China is not a country you want to be like, if you are in favor of humanity, rather than simple financial profits.

  7. Interesting how the commentsection is filled with punishment-ideas, but nobody seems to think about the process of stopping it from happening again. As in...teaching these people to earn their money properly, live without hurting others, etc. Which is what Sweden, Finland, Norway, youknow, all the literally 'cool' countries are doing. Hardly anyone returns after visiting their prison..they allow the prisoners to cut their own food with knifes, to study, to learn. To better their life. And yet I see so many people in the comments, praising the idea of having them perform free manual labor, as if that's what you need them to learn.

  8. Dutch city Weesp has made a pretend-town, called Hogeweyk. They made a facility for them to stay, an elderly-carehome. It's 5 mins. away from my house. There's a documentary online about it, I believe from CNN.
