  1. Thankyou for this insight. I am a tall woman (European, let's say 6 foot) and I have a Dutch shoesize 43 (sometimes 42.) I always have problems with my feet and shoes and with every pair of (cheap) shoes, the problems change and I couldn't figure out hów this was possible. One time I got shoes that were bigger than usual, thinking that would make up for the problems. Instead they 'flopped' around my ankles and indeed, gave me horrible blisters. I thought it was because they were new and that they needed to be walked in longer, to be larger or something. I kept walking, until I had literal blood in them at the end of the day (white shoes, so those were never the same again.) Maybe I should go to a professional and see what they have to say about it. I've only worn óne pair of shoes so far that actually fit me properly, those had to be thrown away last year.
