Exactly what I thought. Some people have their eye on the views and will completely forget what they have in front of them. I once sat in a train (admittedly dressed in a costume) with a friend and I got bottles thrown at my head, because someone wanted to make a tiktok about me getting angry. And those were strangers.... this was his PARENT.

I even think she cut the video after him falling in, because he might've screamed or cried. Looks like there was a moment right after he landed that she removed. It looked like he was in pain.

The mom initially laughing; Fine, understandable Kid asking for help; Can't get out on his own The mom saying she won't help: Not funny, not even as a joke, he already is in panic The kid repeating his question: Humiliating, he is asking for help and being mocked The mom still laughing and filming, excited for views: Sad excuse for a parent The kid urgently screaming for help: Heroic, because it took me about 8 years of therapy to stand up for myself and many others in this thread are likely not strong enough to always stand up for themselves either, but feel perfectly happy to berate a child for actually standing up for himself.

@delayedcreator4783 Even in haunted houses, who's main goal is to scare people, the rule is to never scare near the stairs. OR other places where someone might trip and fall. They want to scare folks, not hurt them or harm them. People that are scared or distracted, will fall down stairs or run or climb. That is never the goal. This was an unfortunate accident and we should treat it as such.

Well yeah, can you blame him, his mom just laughed and told him she wasn't going to get him.
