  1. Noticed that too, I can imagine the mother maybe shouldn't be placed next to the calf if it's in pain. It's quite cruel to let her witness the calf panicking and "suffering" (having pain) but then letting a larger animal hold her back if she wants to help. Would've been easier if someone had walked off with a cow a bit.

  2.  @abdulmoid267  I'm not sure about that. Seperation happens often, temporarily, if the cow needs medical care or if the calf needs to be weighed or whatever. Seeing the calf in clear distress, crying out in pain, shows the mother that you're hurting it.
