  1. It's the Ganges, they (they being...several million people and others not so much) also poop, bathe, swim in there. Wash their faces, brush their teeth with the water (while a few meters back someone is pooping) the children play in it, the rests of the burned corpses of the town are being dumped in there, the dogs like to swim in there, the clothes are being washed in there, the factories dump their chemical wastes in there, people dump their trash in it. It's one big holy river that's supposed to clean all of that.

  2. I thought it was a bit risky though, she barked loudly, that's an intimidating movement. You noticed he looked scared, alert and moved his face towards her, to double check if she really meant to threathen him. If you try to do that for (let's say) 4 times in a row, the dog will probably bite your face.

  3. Thing is, they pollute it themselves too, because they think everything you wash/dump in it, will become pure and holy and better and good. So dead bodies and poop are dumped mere meters away from a child playing in the water.
