  1. Our first pet was accidentally euthanized without the anesthetic, it was quite cruel. The vet was so overwhelmed by our crying (we were teenagers and loudly sobbing over this rabbit, he got confused and forgot the first shot) and injected him with the, for lack of a better word, poison. The rabbit loudly inhaled through his nose (like a gasp) and started to have trouble breathing, he was shaking and kicking and my dad realized what happened, but didn't want to upset us. So he whispered to the vet; 'You forgot the first shot. Well...it's too late now' and simply stroked the rabbit and tried to make his last moments durable. It took a few minutes, we were looking away during that, I just remember a bit of strange, heavy breathing, followed by nasal noises 'Kcchhk...knnnggkk...kngggk' and then he was dead. My dad quickly put him in a better position and we petted him and cried together. He did phone the vetenarian afterwards, who apologized and I remember we got a discount (probably because one of the injections wasn't even used..) on the whole thing. ...probably a weird thing to remember, that last detail, but were Dutch, so maybe that kinda puts it back in perspective xD

  3. E.L. Norton The people murdered because they didn't care about treating people humane. You want to punish them by treating them inhumane. And I may then punish you, I assume, if you treat them inhumane...by treating you inhumane? Is that the cycle you're proposing?

  5. When a human person is heavily suffering, you can give God a little hand and help, if the victim is in unbearable pain that will not get better whatsoever. Other than that, you are right.
