@prazertv We were taught by men, how we need to look. Now we 'teach eachother' about it. Interestingly, I've seen the same happening in people from Suriname. Two ladies were enslaved once and escaped their existence there. They now lived near eachother. Both were sewing (I was too) and one stopped to drink her tea. The other warned her; 'Continue!' and without thinking about it, she continued. Same with children that you teach to be quiet and soon the others will go; 'SSHHHH!' to eachother. Interesting though that a heartbreaking statement immediately needs to be blamed on women by you.

@hardshell9236 Are you sure? Men don't care much? I don't think, apart from my dad or teachers, that I've ever met a guy that didn't immediately comment on my appearance or mocked me for it. Randoms on the street shouting that I was ugly, randoms in the train taking pictures and áll my classmates reminding me every damn day, including "friends" and ex-boyfriend that did not like my looks. Honestly, don't underestimate how much the men care. Women have been táúght by men how to look and act throughout the ages, and what is 'ladylike' and now they're holding eachother to the standard. But it was initially thought of by men, not women.
