  1. In German, I know the saying; 'Komisch daß sie es Krieg nennen, wenn jeder verliert." Krieg means War, but it also means "Receiving/Getting" The saying goes; 'Strange, that they call it "Krieg", when everybody loses."

  2. I get nauseous when I see 'soldiers coming home video's.' People clap and cheer and you see kids with red faces breaking down and scream-crying; 'DaAAAAaaDdYYYyy!' because they haven't seen him in months or even years. And the 'fresh from the war' soldiers are stumbling around (sometimes unharmed, sometimes harmed, sometimes just witnessed nasty shit) and everyone claps and says; 'Thank you for your service!' and smiles happily, while the soldier just stands there and probably had no idea what he signed up for when he first went (like those 'just turned 18' guys.) I mean sure, some "just" left for a year to help build things in Iran or something, but even that is insanely painful. Missing your kids for a year (not seeing them grow up and actively causing permanent bonding-issues) because the government wants a waterwell in Iran and somehow there's no way of doing that without taking people away for a year. Same with people in prison, while we're at it. Redfaced kids, choking on their words, having a bittersweet moment with their moms and dads in prison during visiting-hours and that's then being posted as 'Happy video of daughter reuniting!" and I just think it's mental torture. I avoid those videos. "Reuniting' without a promise to make it permanent this time, is nothing but 'prolonged-suffering' to me.

  3.  @DragonguyA  Wasn't the youngest age 11? I heard that in one of the stories. The youngest age was 11.
