Who else is equally terrified and fascinated by these? I love them, but thinking about their large eyes and sharp teeth is terrifying. More than once they've haunted my dreams and yet they are so beautiful and mysterious, I love it.

@Ramona It's because men age slower than women. A girl aged 16 is about as grown-up as a 20-year old boy. A girl aged 8 is about as grownup as a 12-year old boy, socially. That's why sometimes class with mixed ages (2-3 years difference) can really help out, when otherwise the clever kids are absolutely stuck with some potato-mash-throwing pixies.

+Ressie I think you've misunderstood a couple of things. First off, you're saying it's a fighting bull species. No, they brééd them to be angrier. Not for health or for strength, just for being angry. So that's not a fighting bull, that's like with dogfights, breeding specifically for them to be agressive, no matter what that might cause to their body. Second...if (and I'm saying IF IF IF) there wére such a thing as a fighting-bull (which there is nót..I just explained, there are agressive breeds that people like to keep on breeding) then would that mean that thóse are the ones you have to taunt? I mean..sorry to say, but that logic sounds American to me.

@dawnisyourenemy Right, but that is not part of what I was trying to explain.

I already knew that. It works as an adult too. Not always, but during schoolcamp, there was one girl that álways complained. And somehow she was always given attention, care and help. Even if there was clearly nothing going on. Meanwhile, I was not very vocal and kept my complaints small and polite. Like; 'Is there perhaps another blanket?' or 'I'm sorry, I noticed I stopped shivering and my hands are blue. Is there any chance I can borrow the hot water bottle?' But the one with the loud voice got all the food, attention and pampering. Stuff being carried for her, otherwise she'd burst into tears. She'd take 5 breakfast-packages instead of 1, so I had to eat 1 biscuit for breakfast (at the start of a 5-hour cycling day.) And I ended up freezing for a couple nights in a row until we went back. Back at school, she told everyone who'd listen that she'd been surviving in horrible conditions. While I was still trying to get my fingers back to a normal colour.

@YouCan'tAlwaysGet WhatYouWant To be fair, there is even a limit to this. We're below sealevel and if a part of the ice breaks off and creates a tsunami, there is no time and we'll all drown.

Me too, it's been 5 years and 33 days!

Yeah sorry, if I had to chose between my childhood and this, I'd pick my childhood.

@AnimalsAndReports You can't get beheaded, they hang vertically. We do have a saying; 'Heb je een tik van de molen gehad?' or 'Hij heeft een tik van de molen gehad.' Meaning; 'Did you get hit by the windmill?' or 'He has been hit by the windmill.' It being said when someone is acting weird.

Perkele and BAM....the bear is gone!

@daisies667 That's not what I'm talking about, I wasn't referring to looks. I'm 29 and I look 17, that's not the point. I was referring to how the brain develops. Grow-spurts happen when girls are younger, they develop mental skills and understand social situations better than boys. Obviously, after a while, the boy's level becomes the same level as the girls again, but much later. In hindsight (as I also explained to Ninjaananas) it was a random fact and not relevant to share her.

@Ocean Pictures If everyone picked up one piece of trash everyday, the streets would be fully clean in about half a year. There's always a point in recycling.

Ohh the same happens with ducks here. Ducks jump on thin ice and create the same sounds.

Nobody won, they were tied together and struggling to let loose.

My sister has a dog and she ignores me often. Whenever I want to cuddle, she jumps under the table and sits there, staring at me. I don't know why, because when I pet her, she enjoys it. She just often makes a fuss about allowing me to pick her up and hold her. It's been nearly 2 years. Either way, a while ago, she was being difficult again and so I asked my sister to get her baby-panda-plushtoy from her room. I held the plushtoy and said; 'Yes...yes good girl! Good girl! Oohhh you're such a nice good girl! Well done! Well done!' Immediately the dog came out from under the table and stared at me, I have to say that was a little sad, she looked very confused about it all. So I said; 'Oh and yóu are a good girl too!' and petted her and I was allowed to pick her up and once I put the plushtoy away, she sat on my lap and we watched a short movie together on the pc.
