I am someone that remembers stuff very well and I have PTSD. But there's therapy where you can learn to (figuratively) put everything in folders, stuff it in the cabinet and only take the folders out if you need to :P And apart from negative memories, it's actually quite helpfull. I've confronted people before, that denied several important details. I went up to the bookshelve, got out the photobook and without any effort, found the right picture with the evidence on it. 'Look, it wás that black sweater. The one you said didn't exist" Same with e-mails with information or I recall specific words that people used in a conversation. I once wrote out a full conversation at home after a a collegue at work threathened me. This person got angry and said I'd taped him. 'Nobody can remember thís well, you recorded my story, didn't you?' I could honestly say I didn't and he got a warning for his behaviour.
