Same here, I´m Dutch and our water gets treated with UV light and is very healthy and the same quality as mineralwater.
But superficial girls (especially girls...sadly) see celebrities drink from the bottles in the USA, so they try to be like them and buy bottles too.
Sometimes they say; 'It's just such a hassle to walk around with a waterbottle...like, it's heavy. Just drink it, chuck it away, buy a new one' (which costs you about 6 euro's a day ánd an empty bottle doesn't weigh anything, so that's a weird way to think...6 euro's spend so you don't have to carry an empty waterbottle in your bag.)
I mean, I recently stopped drinking Starbucks chocolatemilk and I stopped having Subwaysandwiches every time I walked past one.
That saved me 15 euro's per 2 weeks, which was 30 euro's per month. About a euro per day, that's 365 euro's a year.
If it's 6 euro's a day for water, then that's 6 x 365 euro's = 2.190 euro's per year. That's how much you'd save if you drank tapwater.
