A while ago, Fox News did a report on the Netherlands.
They said 'The Netherlands is a country known for the red light district.'
I thought; 'Yeah..we have more streets, but that one street is popular. Not our fault though, that's where the tourists go. You can go ánywhere else, we're not forcing them to go there.'
They said 'Here, you can have sex with animals."
I thought; What...how..what does he think we're doing here? Does he really think you can fuck animals here?!'
They said 'And a little further down the street, you can marry in a church! To marry more than one person is allowed!'
I thought; 'No, that isn't allowed! Also, that church is very old, it used to be there to talk about your sins. Ofcourse you can get marry anywhere you want.'
They said And you can get all kinds of drugs here...without any showing of ID.'
I thought; That's a blatant lie, only cannabis is allowed when it's indoors and you defineately have to show your I.D.-card or passport to confirm your age.'
They said So you defineately don't just want to send your kid here. Especially because they also hand out suicide-pills to depressed teenagers.'
I thought; 'Who the hell told them that lie?!'
They said And they ridicule religion and anyone that is religious gets treated very badly here."
After which they interview the most Sperduper-Christian anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-choice, anti-sex person that tells them with a straight face that they; "have been ridiculed about their opinions, in Amsterdam. Especially if they were just casually standing there, handing out the bible to gay guys.'
I thought; 'Jesus Christ, how can you even think this is an unbiased report?'
They said 'That was the Netherlands. Back to you, Jim.'
I mean, every country loves themselves the most, usually, but thát kind of bias isn't in our newsreports.
