  1. I guess that the best option is always a compromise, i.e., keeping some C-2 only for traditional COD missions, say, half C-2 and half CMV-22 for traditional COD missions. 1. This option alleviates CMV-22's demand stress. 2. Given that the operational cost of C-2 is only half of CMV-22, this option also reduces the cost. 3. This option won't affect medical missions because you can always use the CMV-22 half to transport taking-off-landing sensitive loads.
