This is the most absurd lie made by commies.
The Japanese Kwan-tung Army in 1945 was at most a paramilitary force.
Please check the history of all Elite Divisions of IJA (日本帝國甲種常備師團).
In 1945, the real IJA military, i.e., all Elite Divisions of IJA, were in the Pacific theater fighting Americans.
There was only one Elite Division, 3rd "幸兵團" Division, deployed on the Eurasia continent (on the continent, not on islands). That's in Jiang Xi (江西) below the 32nd parallel north. After 1942, there was no IJA Elite Division on the Eurasia continent above the 32nd parallel north, certainly not in Manchuria which is above the 38th parallel north. In 1945 the Kwan-tung Army in Manchuria was at most a paramilitary force like the National Guard in a state in America.
Even facing such a third-tier paramilitary force, Soviet's Red Army was unable to win convincingly. Japanese Kwan-tung Army's casualty is about 40,000. Soviet's casualty is about 36,000.
And the funniest thing is: On the 2nd day of this so-called "Soviet-Japanese war in 1945", Japanese already announced surrender. What they did after August 10, 1945 was simply self-defense as the Red Army didn't give them a peaceful option. Even at the end of the war, Soviet was uable to take Dong-ning Fortress (東寧要塞) . On August 28, 1945, the Japanese soldiers in Dong-ning Fortress received surrender order from Kwan-tung Army headquarter, then they surrendered. Otherwise, the Red Army was still incapable of breaking into the fortress by their own force.

Your morale means nothing when there is no bullet in your guns.
In 1945, Soviet's air force was a joke compared with Anglo-American's because Soviet's propeller engine technology was copied from UK and US. This was changed in 1950s when both Soviet and US copied jet engine technology from captured Nazi engineers, thus side-by-side in the same generation at the same scratch line. Back to 1945, Soviet's supply line was superlong (as major portion of the soviet military industry was still in Urals) and had little chance to survive the Anglo-American air superiority.
In addition, American had A-bombs. Soviet stole the A-bomb secrets by their comrades inside American government (mostly America-born radical left Soviet sympathizers, not real soviet-born spies), but it takes time to implement the stolen technology. Soviet had its 1st A-bomb in 1949. In 1945 Soviet didn't even understand what's A-bomb. On the American side, although 1 A-bomb was used for testing purpose and 2 A-bombs were used in Japan, it only took less than 6 month to manufacture a new A-bomb. Imagine Moscow's hit by an A-bomb and Stalin's dead. Game over.
Finally, Anglo-American will not lose the war even if they can't win it. Soviet's navy in 1945 was not even a joke. It simply didn't exist at that time. There's no way for Soviet to occupy London, let alone Washington D.C. The worst outcome for US and UK was a draw.

Внук Ельцина . I never said Soviet didn't have fuel. What I have said is Soviet didn't have aircraft fuel (needed by propeller engines). Your chemical industry could not produce enough amount of qualified aircraft fuels so the lend-leased aircraft fuels became your major source. Sure, you can argue that without lend-leased aircraft fuels you can switch back to low-quality fuels, but I can mock you that the number of your pilots killed by plane crash due to suddenly-stopped sleazy Russian engines will be far more than the ones shot down by enemy.
As to the Soviet's Manchuria operation in 1945, I am really tired of debunk the communist's lies about the historical facts. Let me copy-and-paste one of my comments under another topic here.

@milmoose622 . Long ago debunked fake left news. After summer 1942, Soviet's 90+% food, trucks, locomotives, aircraft fuels, colored metal needed by factory to transform iron into steel, and so on, were provided by lend-lease.
Without lend-lease, there's no way to transport heavy equipments (e.g., artilleries) from Ural to the front; there was no soviet aircraft flying in the midair to destroy panzers; there was no steel-made T-34, only iron-made T-34. German could shoot through your T-34 from 400 meters away by machine guns, rather than from 4 meters away using Panzerfausts.
