@EdoardoB-xz1jp Just my 2 cents: 1. Fascists are also socialists, but with flavor of nationalism inside and outside. Stalinists are socialists, with internationalism outside and nationalism inside. Here we go. 2. Even a stopped clock will tell the true time twice a day. So a rational person will process any information without ad hominem concerns.

@EdoardoB-xz1jp Please read Lassal and Bismarck's "state socialism" (German: Staatssozialismus). What your narrative labels as "state-run capitalism" has nothing to do with Adam Smith's free market capitalism. It IS state socialism all the way. German fascism is the combo of Staatssozialismus/State Socialism + Nationalism, as I said in the previous comment.

@EdoardoB-xz1jp In Staatssozialismus/State Socialism, the State owns a significant portion of the so-called "private" sector. For example, in Nazi Germany, the partisan State makes decisions in What,When,Where,Who of social productions, and the private sector only makes decisions in How, because How is the only part for technical details. (I assume that u know what 5W means in manufacturing processes) In Marx-Lenin-Stalin-Mao socialism, the State also manages the How part, i.e., all 5W. In free market capitalism, everybody just follows laws to make all 5W decisions, and the Invisible Hand of the probabilistic market determines the result.

@EdoardoB-xz1jp For an example, you should have a look at MG machine gun's production. The Nazi State decided What,When,Where and Who of the production, of course, via a Nazi State enforced procedure. The Nazi State only left the How part to the "private" sector, i.e., Werner Gruner, Großfuß, Mauser etc. This is also the mode of operation for nowadays US military industry. Yes, I am saying that US military industry is not free-market capitalism, but a vivid example of state socialism. I think this is just common sense regardless of ur opinion.

@criticalthinker8007 Read Robert Michels's "Iron Law of Oligarchy" and Adolf Gasser's refutation. Any top-down approach in politics will eventually result in Michels's Iron Law. The only possible exit is Gasser's bottom-up approach. So, the most fundamental classification of politics is top-downer vs. bottom-upper. All top-downers are doomed to reach oligarchy, and most of them eventually reach dictatorship. It's possible that bottom-uppers would avoid oligarchy and dictatorship. But there is no guarantee. You are free to make your own choice. I am a bottom-upper by all means.
