  1.  @pedrohenrique-et3fs  You guys need to differentiate two types of tradition: the type of Pareto improvement (non-blocking of other people including the real thinkers) & the type of control-based improvement (i.e., blocking other people to enforce the will of people in power). The tradition of USA (& Scotland & Netherland) is essentially a Calvinistic practice of social Pareto improvement, i.e., closest to the former one by far. The tradition of Nordic countries is a Lutheran practice of quasi-Pareto improvement, i.e., closer to the former one. The tradition of all other countries is the latter one, i.e., the source of all kinds of social disasters. This explains quite well the Reign of Terror in France, the fascist's era of Italy, Germany and Spain, and the communist's era of Russia and Asia. They all belong to the tradition of control freaks.
