  9. Yeah, murder is not like in the movies. Most murders are second degree and committed in the heat of the moment. Actual, premeditated murders, like a husband or wife killing their spouse to collect insurance money or an inheritance, are very, very rare.

  11. What I hate about the death penalty is that it harms the mentally ill and research into psychotically ill people with their revenge-mindedness-JUSTICE-mindedness BUT revenge-mindedness. For example, a couple of months ago, a video was leaked of Nikolas Cruz, the recent school shooter of over a dozens people, behaving very erratically. He has a history of mental illness and that video displayed a very sick person. But the comments on the video, many by people who did not study psychology or psychiatry, claimed that he was faking it so he can escape the death penalty. If you removed capital punishment from the equation entirely, we would not have all these blood thirsty people crying for execution, many of whom are clinically insane. They would just accept entry into an asylum to be studied and move on.
