  1. Yeh they seem pretty good. I know someone who bought a cx60 diesel and he says his fuel economy is incredible. Mazda do things differently from other mainstream manufacturers. I just like the fact they do a decent sized diesel.

  4. Unfortunately that's not how power stations work. You can't just up the power. They have to spin at the same speed to maintain the frequency and run at full load. That's why they have open circuit gas turbines that can quickly be turned on at peak demand.

  5. Been waiting for this one. Seriously, 8 genuinely believe that car manufacturers are engineering their own demise. Agenda 2030 is going to kill it anyway. VW is in debt to the tune of a country. Its also a partner of the world economic forum so is fully on board with everything that's going on in those organisations.

  22. Anyone who understands anything about geopolitics would understand that the EU was certainly not set up for the common people. The idea that it was set up as a trading partner to morph into a totalitarian state was always the plan. It was a way of getting a number of independent, sovereign countries under one umbrella who would make global decisions along with the United nations, the world health organisation and world economic forum. Ursula Von Der Leyen is a criminal who has been in bed with Pfizer and collaborating in the rollout of digital/vaccine passports at the behest of the world health organisation. Some freedom of movement eh? Also as a UK citizen, I'm limited to 90 days travel in any Schengen country. They are also implementing biometric and fingerprint id for travellers in October. Democratic? You decide.

  25. I'm not defending EVs in any way, shape or form but some people pay around 7p per kWh for charging overnight. Not sure how it works.

This subject has nothing to do with capitalism but robbing you of everything youve got has nothing to do with capitalism. You have to look at the history of things like the federal reserve and the banking system. If you think that you're going to benefit from a smart meter, think again. You dont need a smart meter if you have solar and battery. The 2 aren't related. I dont disagree that if you have solar and battery it can be a good option if you have the kind of house that lends itself to it but the majority of the population neither have the money, space or indeed own their own homes so it only benefits the better off and when you upscale this even further, the landowners who have solar and wind on their land make massive amounts, you could say off the backs of ordinary people. As i said, ill never have a smart meter. Oh and they can be turned off.

  32. I was talking to a couple of guys installing a couple of EV charging points in an Aldi car park. A guy got out of an EV,walked over and started talking. He was saying how he's got a 100kw charging point at home.😂

  33. Rubbish, there are oil fields that are abiogenic which has shown they replenish themselves and they don't come from fossils. That term was invented by one of the Rockefeller's to give the impression that it was a rare commodity. Anyway, how are we going to stop using them when just about everything is made from it and everything you buy is transported by it. You couldn't survive without it but hey, maybe that's the intention.

  38. Don't disagree at all on the ev stuff but the climate changes all the time. The fact is that the increase of co2 is greening the planet and extreme weather events are lower now than in previous history but of course if you take the starting point at a convenient time in history then you can always get the results you want. Also, when you understand the agenda behind it and what it's all about you realise it's nothing more than taking control over every aspect of your life.

  47. I don't think that. My daughter's got a macan GTS. Just because of the body style doesn't make it any less of a performance car. It's a massive drop from that to an EV. Anyway she's got a family so she gets the best of both worlds.

  49.  @garreysellars5525  exactly. Wherever it comes from, it's not going to be cheap and will be energy intensive. They were proposing using hydrogen here in the UK for gas boilers. That would be extracted from natural gas. They even started manufacturing hydrogen ready boilers. Apart from the dangers of hydrogen you have the problem that it causes brittleness in iron pipes. The concept didn't last long. Really, what is the point? Burning natural gas is clean to start with.
