Germany is a country in terminal decline. Organisations are moving out to other countries whilst small businesses are going bankrupt in large numbers. It's a simple case of, if you need to manufacture things, you need energy.

@richardwarren7492 I've been going there for the last 3 decades and even before that. Spent 3 months on holiday in 2019 and 2 months last year. Didn't go abroad in-between those years because I wouldn't conform to the mandates. Spent 3 weeks last year cycling the entire Moselle river and part of the Rhine covering 750 miles. Spent most of the time in Bavaria, Baden Wurttemberg and the Rhineland Palatinate. I'm currently in Madeira for 5 weeks then going to Germany again for 7 weeks in June. I shop there, eat out there, take my caravan there and spend time in hotels when on my cycling trips. I actually love the country and the people. The decline is being brought about by foreign adversaries, namely the US and it's own wef run government. The same decline as in all other western countries, except that Germany has more to lose due to it being one of the world's biggest economies. Does that answer your question? You seem to do a lot of whinging on here don't you?

iscadean3607 that's a big part of the reason. They've had to fire up coal power stations that were mothballed. Their faith, pushed by the useless greens are the main cause of their energy shortage. You clearly have no idea of how things work. You live in some kind of fantasy land. I mean, battery storage? Get real. I would know where to start with that insanity.
