The US don't want Germany to have any relationship between them and the US don't like Germany being one of the highest performing countries on the planet. The us will destroy anything that stands in their way. It also has the aim of shutting down heavy industries that will move their operations to the US which is already happening.

In my city there are 7700 people who don't pay. You have to learn about these things otherwise you're just a part of a corrupt system that you're aiding and abetting.
