because all inertial frames agree on the value of c^2(delta t)^2 - (delta x^2) separating 2 events.

see: Lorentz transformation.

then you should go learn about Lorentz transforms so you can say with confidence, "yup, he's right about the hyperplane of simultaneity (e.g. the x'-axis)".

I disagree. Relativity is classical, so it shouldn't account for QM. Dark matter is an experimental observation that is unrelated. So QM is a non-relativistic theory, and is incompatible with it...e.g., wave function dispersion is de facto FTL. However, when a theory that agrees with both SR and QM is constructed, it must be a quantum field theory (QFT). The predictive power of QFT is unbelievably good, e.g., the electron magnetic moment is the most precise/accurate computation & measurement ever.

because your velocity w.r.t. to light in all directions is always 0, no matter what. E.g: a spherical surface of expanding light is spherical in all reference frames, always.

So Andromeda is 2.5M ly away, and approaching us at 300 km/s. When is it on Earth, right now, in the Andromeda galaxy? A: 4522 AD.

instantaneous is one frame is backwards in time for any frame moving in the same direction as the message. His lines are correct.

@TheRustedShackleford no, it's b/c the Lorentz transform says: t' = gamma(t - vx/c^2)
