  2. It’s not gay marriage. Gays have always been allowed to marry, the just married the opposite sex. With the acceptance, they stopped getting married and went into same sex monogamous lonterm (in theory) relationships that were legalized the same as marriage. But that wasn’t enough, they wanted it sanctioned as marriage by their god, the state, hence they redefined marriage such that sex didn’t matter.
