Personal information (financial, medical, legal) as such is not classified, it called "Controlled Unclassified Information" (CUI)...search "CUI Categories"--it goes from access to public works, net worth, asylum status, domestic violence victim status, agricultural, archeological resources, controlled technical info, pesticide access, national park cultural heritage resources, patent applications, GPS software, confidential informants, DNA, whistleblower status, and so on...but it's a fairly investigation (level 4?)..but does NOT require the Defense Counter-Intelligence Agency complete a favorable national security investigation.
