If you understood statistical physics would know that all configurations are equally likely, it’s just that the number of configurations that look like a face is so much smaller then the number that look like rocks it always looks like rocks. So you are right, the micro state is likely, but the macro state unlikely. All of thermodynamics’s modern formulation as ensembles of quantum states is based on this principle. We’ll skip the deeper meaning which references a famous debate about the existence of God, which should be obvious to anyone old enough not to be educated by common core and tick tok

  7.  @punchline43  btw, you can read about it in wikipedias page on Statistical_mechanics the ideas that drive it are almost 300 years old. In particular, the "fundamental postulate", which would translate to exactly what I said about a face in the rocks is equally as a likely as some rando pile of rocks, the same way "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6" is equally likely to win the lottery as any other choice.
