It is a euphemism for the opposite of occidental (which can't be written on YouTube), and is an ethnicity, or a composite of 400 ethnicities. as far as geology goes, the division should be "Eurasia" and "Indian", but the naming of continents started long before "The theory of continental drift", which is surprisingly recent.
