  2. This is disingenuous. Of course, the Stefan-Boltzmann law and the Planck Spectrum are applicable, quantum, and correct, but catastrophic global warming is not based on those. Their forcing alone is minor, and catastrophe requires complex, and sometimes speculative, positive feedback mechanisms. When someone tells you "Climate change is fundamental physics", they are not speaking "science".
