  1. light is much higher frequency than radio (S-band for mars-to-earth). Both propagate in the electromagnetic field(s), that come with space. Thanks to relativity, though, and EM wave doesn't have a "frequency", f, as f is not a Lorentz scalar, and is thus frame dependent.

  2. Pretty easy calculation, but it should be much less than the radiation pressure from the CMB.....maybe.
