How exactly have Russians shown themselves inept? Sure they made some initial mistakes, but that is pretty common in war. If anything they have shown immense levels of logistical capabilities by delivering 60k shells to the front per day and sustaining that rate of fire for months.

@Olmost Gudinaf because the entire situation changed. Ukraine got lucky, it wasn't due to their ability that the counterattack was successful but rather because Russia didn't have men. This counteroffensive will be a true test of their ability.

@Angry-Lynx preserving soldiers life should be the utmost priority and yet the Ukrainian command senseless spent the lives of their soldiers in Bakhmut😊

@codycarr4544 thanks for the tip. If you could find the video that would be nice!

@olmostgudinaf8100 LMAO "masterfully conducted operation"? Are you high? The Russians already had 30k troops in the South to control those territories and to try to prevent major Ukrainian breakthroughs. The 30k troops were brought to the front at least since late spring, early summer. And they did successfully stop Ukrainian "counter offensive" in that region, with Ukraine suffering heavy casualties. There was no "counter offensive" near Kharkov, given that by August 80k Russian soldiers had their 6 month contracts expiring leaving Russia with a manpower shortage. The US caught wind of this and told Ukraine who hastily put together an attacking force (hence Ukraine almost had no tanks and had to rely on fast moving jeeps) and broke through the area because Russia had only SOBR/OMON units there (SWAT teams). Hilariously, despite being SWAT units, they lost only a few men and pulled out in good order as did most of the Russian troops. Russia lost a total of 0 men during their pullout of Kherson, if Ukraines goal was to "trap" and "cutoff" Russian forces in the South, then it failed miserably in that regard.

It's not really in most of Europe's interest to support the war (outside maybe Poland and the Balts) - they only do it because ordered to do so by the US.

@codycarr4544 I am not aware of the artillery fire, can you clear up what happened? I only saw the video of the river crossing/landing, are you saying it didn't happen?

@Olmost Gudinaf last spring and autumn were both "lucky phases". Ukraine didn't really defeat Russia in battle anywhere along the front, Russia simply up and left.

@bradleywright7066 the Russian army is a contract army. Once their contract is up they go home. Dunno what you expect from them lol

@olmostgudinaf8100 do you have problems with reading comprehension? Where did I say "they got lured away"? I said their contracts expired and so Russia didn't have enough men to hold the entire front. Kharkov oblast is huge. And Ukraine hasn't been able to disrupt logistics in Belgorod to any meaningfulnextent given that tanks supplying Wagner in Bakhmut as well as gasoline come through there. Where did I say "extra"? I said they had 30k troops in Kherson Oblast total. They did stop Ukraine though. Ukraine was not able to move forward in their assualt and lost plenty of men and material trying it. Why do you think Ukraine currently is begging for more tanks from NATO? Where do you think the 300 Polish tanks went? That's right, they all got destroyed near Kherson. So? Equipment is replaceable, men are not. Politico released an article today talking about how Ukraine had 100k men killed and how if this offensive fails for Ukraine, Ukraine is done because it will be unable to recover its losses. So much for "brilliant operation" where you lose all your tanks and best crews 😂 if anything it's a brilliant operation by Russia, in killing the best of Ukrainian troops.

@olmostgudinaf8100 interesting how you put words in my mouth😂 and did not understand what I wrote correctly despite me being clear. Is this what all Ukraine supporters are like? Not surprising they fall for propaganda so easily then😂
