Russia neglected logistics? Hmm. According to western media, Russia has been firing 60k shells per day. These shells don’t appear on the front by magic, imagine the logistics necessary to bring that much ammo to the front.

@Kirkaloozenstein I mean US gov is here telling us to support Ukraine and not support Russia, so I don't see why they'd lie abt this

@Jackson yes it's likely Russia fires less. But that's not the point, imagine the logistics necessary to fire 600k a day.

@Pat Wilson that indicates is that their logistics are good. Bringing 60k shells a day to the front is quite a logistical feat. Moreover, reports seem to indicate that Russia has the shells (as indicated by rough estimates of Russian ammo stockpiles) to continue firing at this level but are conserving ammo in preparation for Ukraines counteroffensive (correspondingly Ukraines shell use has also fallen significantly presumably for the same reason). Russia has also been upgrading their "dumb bombs" with targeting packages greatly increasing their accuracy (which partially explains their breakthroughs along the entire front recently).
