Ukraine was a founding member of the USSR, and it benefitted greatly from the USSR as to this day almost everything infrastructure wise was built by the USSR lol. Amd why is my comment bullshit? As a Ukrainian who is observing everything around me, the only reason Ukraine hates on everything Russian is that is how it tries to establish its identity. There is no Ukrainian identity without juxtaposing it and doing the opposite of everything Russian lol. Even Ukrainian language is Russian with a few words changed to "be different"

@apokkalyps6 ironic because Ukrainians think their media has absolutely no propaganda - meanwhile there is only one news channel left, opposition media is censored as “Russian propaganda” and they are taught to whitewash their Nazi Past - see the article done by Foreign Policy about the subject. Even funnier is Ukrainians have an organization named Azov with the SS Wolfsangel as their symbol and that’s part of Ukrainian Internal Ministry. Finally, the funniest part is when you have young Ukrainians convinced of the narrative “Russia bad” because that’s what they’ve been taught at school (Ukrainians don’t have an identity outside “Russia bad”) but don’t remember what actually happened in 2014 due to being too young
