  7. Mass deportations wont fix the problem, nor will reinforcing the borders, it's impossible to effect. For the case of Venezuela, deporting venezuelans and strengthening the border isnt going to stop Anti-Maduro criminals from fleeing to come to the US, nor will is stop the thousands of economic migrants that are forced to leave in order to better support their families, America seems more interested in stopping the migrants but not analyzing or addressing the causes of the migrations. To do that in Venezuela's case would require a cessation of sanctions against the nation in order to allow Venezuelan trade to prosper and recover the economy, as without the sanctions and the trade embargo Venezuela has the potential to become one of the most prosperous nations in South America.

Russia didnt forment an illegal coup in Kiev, Russia didnt force didnt force antidemocratic legislation through the Rada at gunpoint, Russia didnt cut off the access of fresh drinking water to over 2 million civilians in an act of collective punishment inspite of that being in violation of the Geneva Convention. The narrative that Ukraine didnt start this war only holds up when you ignore everything that happened in Ukraine from 2012-2022.

It's an act of stand your ground in a duty to retreat state, the guy in the hospital is definitely getting charged with assault if he lives, but pulling a gun in public in a duty to retreat state is also a big no no. Given that Scott is a combat veteran trained in CQC it's going to be a tough sell to a judge that this was a reasonable use of force against an unarmed assailant.

  50. ​ @kornelijazaicaite1441 I've talked to alot of Russians on VK, they havent conscripted anyone in two years now because recruitment ballooned after Ukraine attacked Kursk, on the homefront Putin enjoys wide support because inspite of the sanction war that's been waged against Russia the standards of living have only gone up, the average household income has risen 15% from 2023 and they feel that Putin has defended them from the economic and military agression imposed by the west.
