The whole idea that a president, or anybody, should be forced to release their tax returns when there is no evidence of wrongdoing and the IRS has clearly signed off on their legitimacy, is absurd. If anyone in government (e.g. Pelosi) were forced to release their returns, a partisan could find something that looks “unfair” or “greedy” or whatever, regardless of legality. Just another Democrat scam to taunt a fairly elected president and keep him from effectively working for the citizens of the country. Trump will win the coming election and 3-5% of the vote that puts him over the top will be due to people sympathetic to how unfairly he’s been treated by the media and establishment power-players.

Gregory Ashton - He’s doing what I would do and any other person would do. The IRS regularly audits his taxes. It’s their job to determine if anything is amiss. Being a citizen of the US is a qualification for the presidency. Letting Jerry Nadler and the opposition party rummage through your finances is not. The Democrats have become typical banana republic leftists; seeking elimination of opposition and any opposing speech, , weaponizing the state to punish those who disagree with their commands, spying on opposition candidates and concocting non-existent “crimes,” bitter inability to accept election results (one can speculate all they want in regarding Trump in this regard — Hillary is living proof of the sour grapes approach in action). All this, so they can ram through the statist bureau-authoritarian edicts of a powerful punitive establishment. Citizens had every right to know if Obama was a legitimate citizen to hold office. The Democomms have no legitimate reason to micro-analyze the tax returns...of anybody (in spite of the wishes of Lois Lerner or other assorted Jacobin thugs). The Democrats are just a couple of elections away from establishing prison camps, reeducation camps, and political executions.

Kevin Nelson - Still, we can probably accurately assume you wouldn’t feel the same way regarding an audit of the Clinton foundation if she had become president....just guessing.

Eye roll......he won. The government will have to wait to resume its seizure of power over America’s citizens.

ThePierre58 - Pinned it!

It didn’t help Obama’s cause that he was so guarded about wanting to release the original copy and that his half brother was saying he was born elsewhere.

artifex_X - He doesn’t have to be “hiding” anything to realize that there are plenty of establishment players that will micro-analyze anything he does in hopes of finding something to attack him on or complain about. The totally benign Ukraine call was a perfect example. Did absolutely nothing wrong and the worthless whining Democrats used it to impeach him. If he’s “hiding” something, the IRS can do their job and find it. He has been the most unfairly treated president in our country’s history from day one. He won! Let him do his goddam job!

john d'oh! - If you think this president is just “playing golf” and “watching FOX news you must be way under informed about what’s been going on the last few years.

Gregory Ashton - Consistently, this is the kind of debate point the left always brings up. Personal attacks, “orange man bad,” “your stupid” and other assorted schoolyard proclamations. It’s extremely rare for a leftist to present a cogent intelligent case with clear facts and reasonable positions. In the end, the election is about who wants a powerful central government to become more powerful and punitive - the Soviet model - and those of us who respect limited constitutional government and a high degree of self-government. If we can get prosperity out of it, all the better. For a good portion of the Trump-deranged, it’s just “orange man bad” and help the government and international socialists to get their country back. (Thanks for checking out my videos).

Gregory Ashton - Aside from the typo, you — again — proved my point. As for your being magically beyond poles (not “bipolar”), you certainly sound like you favor one side of a debate.
1
Gregory Ashton - it’s pretty typical of those incapable of stating a case to whine about irrelevant things like typos. Your stance - which amounts to little beyond name-calling — is definitely not convincing. One yawn + two eye-rolls.

David Rees - Easy to say when one’s only source of information is Twitter feeds and late night comedy shows. Hating Trump is easy, cliche' actually. Unfortunately it’s also the default position of those who favor a powerful central government authority to micro-manage fellow citizens. Real rebels don’t love Big Brother and they’re not bothered by benign policies like tax reduction, deregulation, and sane border enforcement.

Another well-considered fact-laden polemic that, in the end, concludes, “orange man bad.”
1
Sandy Sherwin - Sure....you mean, “orange man bad.” A brilliant fact-filled polemic. You must really love establishment institutions. Doing your part to help the government get its country back. Such a rebel.
1
Sandy Sherwin - Apparently not very big on presenting cogent debate points.

Who exactly did the “blasting?” The perpetual inbred agreement among the Trump-deranged is hardly impressive. Some people like him and some people hate him. The ones that hate him whine about every statement....so
1
Lisa Stark - I didn’t realize it was that simple. The good people who hate him and those who like policies that favor American citizens. Orange man...and half the political spectrum is obviously bad. And, what a fortunate coincidence, you’re on the good side.
