  2. Why does America’s not signing global treaties still result in reducing American emissions but many countries that do sign the treaties (go through the motions) fail to reduce their emissions? Also, why are India and China cut slack on their emissions? One almost gets the impression that the preferred method of addressing climate change is to simply establish a global socialist government so experts can control and distribute wealth and resources — that’ll dave us. ...then there’s the issue of expensive junkets in exotic locales flown to in private jets to discuss “climate change.” The issue will get more traction when the hypocrisy factors are addressed. I can’t get excited about bovine flatesulance when Leo DiCaprio is flying his friends to hear him speak.

  4.  @melioristicOne  My “Own Narrative” isn’t really the issue in an environment where journalism, education, science, and medicine contain powerful interests that seek to squelch free and open dialog. Whether one is appraising the validity of climate changes over millennia, or the efficacy of therapeutics, exposure to contending viewpoints is a positive thing. May the best arguments win and whining censors join the dust heap of history.

While watching this I couldn’t help but consider that social interactions and memes like the evolution of music and art styles, language, and political discord and order follow patterns (and non-patterns) similar to those described here. (No doubt someone has already addressed this but I found it intriguing.
