  1. When I was a kid (in the U.S.) it was common to ask people what their nationality was. One didn’t typically get angry and insist they were from America. They said they were half Italian and half German or part African and part Brazilian or ….whatever. Just another contrived racial incident from a garden-variety “activist.”
