  19.  @markewing10  - She wanted to cut “funding to education.” Hell, I’m a former teacher and by all means whittle the federal department of “education” into sawdust. Indeed the swamp has a momentum all its own but, when given the choice between meager attempts to deregulate the state from our lives vs the path were on now, “make America great again” doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.

The people running the show now — let’s face it, it’s not Biden — are full blown globalist Ivy League technocrats. They definitely don’t want to “make America great again” because in their eyes, to quote the former New York governor, “it never was that great.”

  21. The Federal government continues to spend billions of dollars on all sorts of things leftists like and don’t like but this one expenditure has them in full battle mode....why? At the same time, those opposed to a wall who none the less claim to understand and support the need for border security mysteriously favor sanctuary cites for those who have effectively breeched the border or overstayed their visas. Let’s get real, every sane country has a border and laws and barriers maintaining its integrity. Democrats want as many illegal migrants in the country as possible so as to inevitably make them voting citizens. If the average new immigrant to the U.S. voted for Republicans it’s reasonable to assume that Democrat “progressives” would not be perpetually whining about the horrors of a sane border policy - they couldn’t remove them fast enough. Like every other position in the left’s arsenal of nonsense, the bottom line is to seize power, hold power, and use that power to control the lives of others. Build the fucking wall!
