  2. piet jan petersen - no need to wait — we’re both right. Leftism is statism...and statism always wants to mind other people’s business — domestic and foreign. The mistake that many people make is thinking that leftism is somehow opposed to “the man” when it typically IS the man...or wants to become so.

  3. piet jan petersen - I think my sympathies are clear — as are yours. We probably both sound a bit cliche regarding our preferences. You would no doubt be happier in China than I would be. Real rebels don’t love big brother regardless of what they think of George Bush.
