  7. It's amazing how often popular conservative themed videos appear here with the obligatory red "don't likes." "Don't likes" always seem to dominate when an argument is being made for sane appraisals of current issues. That's probably to be expected in a world where an unknown leftist community organizer can win the American presidency twice. Senator Inhofe has investigated and written extensively regarding the current manipulations and valid criticisms regarding global warming (now, "climate change)." You don't have to agree with him or consider his arguments, or even like his little snowball gimmick (to accent a point), but to the Jacobin crowd it always seems to come down to the suggestion that one half of the political spectrum is somehow mysteriously invalid. There has been enough corruption, hypocrisy, and deception to make issues around climate change a valid target for skepticism and disagreement. A predictable clique‘ of Youtube viewers "don't like" opposing viewpoints (yawn). The whole "global warming" fad would gain more traction if every year thousands of well-paid bureaucrats weren't flying to exotic and distant locales (using jet fuel of course) to stay in expensive resorts for the purpose of contriving another scheme to rein in the free societies they so disdain. 'Just another venue for philosopher kings to exert their will to dominate.

  8. Andrew Breitbart was a great principled man. Hearing the usual cliche nonsense from the Jacobin clique is beyond annoying. Breitbart would have loved watching the left devolve so quickly into the communist target they’ve always directed themselves toward. That last caller was ridiculous (as well as some of the others). Conservatives are sick of being labeled as evil or “racist” etc. for wanting to see their fellow citizens live in a stable prosperous society based on our founding principles. The left clearly hates America, hates our constitution, and hates at least half our population.

  9. Trump has done nothing — zero — to restrict press freedoms. You can debate the merits of his sarcasm and insults (something he does to everyone that attacks him) but thinking the media has not earned scorn from some public personalities and the general public is utter blindness. Wallace acknowledged examples of these flaws to a degree but then just droned on the usual “orange man bad” litany we’ve become accustomed to. Through my entire adulthood I’ve watched establishment media sources skew the news through dishonesty or omission. While proclaiming fake news to be the “enemy of the people” is over the top I can’t say the hacks of partisan spin haven’t earned such insult. Any sane person exposed to such unjust treatment would no doubt respond the way Trump has — or worse.

The pendulum may have been moving back and fourth through America’s history but the fixed point at the top has consistently been moving left with greater and greater authority vested in a central government that has sought to micro-manage our lives and cede sovereignty to authoritarian global institutions. Obama almost sealed the deal for good. Hillary was supposed to put the finishing touches on the century long project to dismantle the founders great gift to generations. Whine all you want about course speech and tweets. Trump is the only “politician” willing and able to set the country back on a course of truly limited government. The polished entrenched “experts” are running scared and have the backing of every pseudo-socialist institution in the culture. The government “wants its country back” and wants our submission to their decrees - ain’t gonna happen.

  15. The title of this clip is classic media seeking to depict a complacent president when, in fact, the context and essence of his statement was totally appropriate and positive. The left can see nothing but doom everywhere and at all times which affords them their perennial excuse to control society. It’s great to have a president again who is upbeat, hands on, and decisive in looking positively toward the future.

  19. Jim Kilroy - Yeah, for sure. Maintaining border integrity — as passed by congress — is treasonous. Deregulating the bogus authority of the punitive bureau-state is treasonous. Negotiating trade agreements that favor American workers is....treason. Conversely, relinquishing sovereignty to international unelected socialist institutions and imposing restrictions on speech and behavior is....typical authoritarian leftism.
