@michaelszczys8316 - Totally. It boils down to the basic fallacy that the government can “create” jobs. There’s a great joke from the former - communist - Soviet Union. A man observes thousands of people digging holes for some public works project and asks the overseer why. The leader responds that that project has created thousands of jobs, to which the questioner asks, “if the purpose is to create jobs, why don’t you give them spoons instead of shovels?”

Jereme Le Pere — We’ve summed up the dichotomy quite well. In spite of what attributes are deemed positive or negative from private or public institutions, there will always be some us us who hold imposed government authority in disdain and others who worship at the alter of state and demand that others obey the dictates and punishments of the inefficient unelected. A sane person at least looks at the state establishment with warranted suspicion. If private institutions are truly free they have to please consumers if they are ever to attain success, wealth, and power. With the minions of state, they merely command or conspire with private interests to impose results of their choosing at increasing expense and reduced efficiency.
