@forkittens daughter of lilith in others, lilith of course being adams first wife, the serpent in catholicism, but the story is from the epic of gilgamesh akkadian translation as fas as I understand it, translated variously later and in the bible as Lamiya, screech owl, nightjar, night monster/demon/creature.
Or in the Knox bible, as vampire. She is also known as the serpent, the child killing witch (she is responsible for infant deaths and encourages abortion) she also is known as the leviathan, and tries to make new demons by copulating with sleeping men.
She is my favourite mythological figure.
You will enjoy Genshin Impact (that anime game), as it is founded in Gnostic christian beliefs, such as cainites. Interesting how it rooted as far as china, safe from the inquisition there I expect that makes sense.

A blindness can take hold when you are emotionally sensitive. My dad is autistic, my mum whatever the opposite of that is. Feelings over facts. Peterson calls it post modernism, but I don't think its organised.
I think it comes down to sincerity- emotive people believe things based on it. Logical people base on truth.
Have you never wondered at emotive adverts, politicians, etc and wondered who falls for it? Its because they are targeted at the emotive people.
Essentially, 'normies' are very weak to it, the same way you might be vulnerable to the factual lies and manipulation.
She's hung around with 'normies' so long she expected 'abuse victim' to trigger the correct emotions and set out opinions of her, not meet her with logic.
My brother in law caught my mother in a big lie on tape, so my dad has gotten rid of her. She was very cruel to him.
I take after my mother, sadly perhaps, with her emotional intelect I guess, but I endevour to combat others who try to take advantage of those on the spectrum, like my dad and sister, and explain to normies that they might not in fact be a creep or weirdo, but autistic and trying to be friendly and welcoming and your polite discomfort was misinterpretted and you should be extrcruciatingly direct in a way that would hurt normies feelings but autistic people appreciate.
