  2. Dust buildup depends on different factors, but once every week/two weeks in frequently used rooms, less so in less used spaces. If you're only concerned about health, concentrate on the areas slept in and living rooms, where you spend time. A couple minutes once a week there and a deep clean every couple months would probably suffice for most people if they didn't care. The issues come down to carpet larvae mainly, they can easily infest your house if you don't vacuum everywhere frequently. The larvae has hairs that shed in your clothes giving nasty skin issues and holes in your clothes etc, plus they are kinda gross. If you get them you need to hoover twice a week deeply for 3 years straight plus fumigations to hope to be rid of them- often best to replace your carpets at that point.

  4. Lazy is the wrong word when he works so much when he doesn't need to. He's just a little dysfunctional, and i believe you might be right. Self care requires esteem to some degree.
