This was not present at all, the shown things are meant to be completed at the time they are shown. This was a 'bullshot' or a 'mug's eyeful' visuals intended to convince the buyer it is more functional than it really is. A vertical slice would have feature complete content, gameplay, etc. One quest in a single finished location for example. X minutes of finished gameplay content. They didn't advertise it as a vertical slice, they provided only some clips not a playable section and claimed they had working weather mechanics that are not implemented yet edited them in. A vertical slice doesn't get removed from a game either, why undo work? It was never in the game.

They constantly infantilize the youth for a few reasons, one is to push up school age more and more to indoctrinate young adults, and treating them as children means they never develop responsibility like most millennials, so are forever childlike. Another is insidious, because by saying 20 year olds are basically children, they need to modernize their approach to love that can happen between all ages. (Show middle school photo) (did that here for the southport killer) Frankly, its only the responsibility at 18 that matures you, not age. It'd likely be the same if you started working at 15, whereas unemployed uni students shouldn't be able to drink or vote until they graduate. Maybe an opt in scheme, you get to work, vote, drink, use social media, live or international travel without guardian , etc but sign up for the draft and taxes. We can make it a big coming of age ceremony, otherwise your parents or husband/wife gets your vote, and you give big tax breaks to your head of family...

  47. Yes, renting is the worst. The issue with mortgages is they artificially inflate house prices far beyond what people can afford. Before them they had to be around a year's wages. Now they can be ten years wages. At least each dollar you pay gives you about 40c ownership. Living in a caravan or something far cheaper than you can afford is better, even then, renting a house and staying in the cheap place once 100% yours is probably better still, with the mortgage covered by rent. Then in 25-30 years later you'd own a property worth more than you could ever afford, and no real expenses. If you can stomach short term hardship, you can get huge long term gains. But usually incompatible with gov. Assistance as crawling out of your gutter is criminal.

Gives US skin in the game to negotiate with putin, that ukraine will not contend them. US civilians on that border gives a strong guarantee and direct access to 'informed observers' (iirc) Any actions in the area then cause direct cassus beli on Russia. It's sensible, to be honest. And gives US a reason to support Ukraine if Russia doesn't negotiate. Essentially it works because Russia claimed they aren't in it for the minerals and they won't lose face either by granting the US to it because of that.
