  1. Legacy media supported games, after the failure of condord, veilguard, outlaws, ac shadows. This year has been great imho, which is impressive when the big studios are failing so hard.

I actually have a hunch that due to the timelines, the spot was originally earmarked for concord, that they had 'paid for consideration' and their backup was used up so with veilguard's failure they were scuppered, making them 'look bad' behind the scenes or invalidate their backroom economy. I also think they expected either assassin's creed or outlaws to do well. If you see how much it burned their expectations you can see the issue. I think what we see is control over nominations, and they ran out of feet in the door. I don't think they pre decided goty but pivot on their approved list.

  3. Or stand alone campaign, which were a thing for a while, you don't have to call it 2 just make it not require other purchases.

  7. Yeah he has only benefited. This type of content is conversational, discussion based and after the removal of video replies on youtube this is the way to discuss things. He's been supportive of it.

  8. Liyue patch in Genshin essentially doubled it's size and scope. Not all patches are equal like not all dlc are.

  9. Don't mind him, 800 viewers is sustainable and the upper limit for audience interaction. He doesn't get the benefits of community in his streams. Also berates that and states 'judging games by player count...'
