  1. It's ludicrously cheap for satellite communication, but ping being an issue makes sense. Only costs as much as a high end equivalent terrestrial package. Thanks for sharing the experience. They state they still need more satellite coverage yet. Games like poe2 don't necessarily need good ping as much can be done locally. Since I became a steam deck main, though, i've swapped to partial online or ofline games mostly, as I'm too used to the quick standby/resume feature and being off internet so i'd probably not notice gaming, but run grayjay most of the time and any disruption is irritating. But 'dad gamers' like me may not be too affected. I was a competitive css player for a summer aged 15, ranking in a tournament, but my reactions aren't close to that anymore & i don't play those types of games now. If you don't play counter strike or fortnite or the like, and are stuck to 2mb or something it could be worth it. Or you could have a really cheap even data limited internet you use only for online games. Does cloud cover / weather affect it?
