They are a tribe that use force lightning, but they're called witches by the locals because they live on a primitive planet and their force powers look like magic. There's absolutely nothing unique they can do, no witchy magic. Attuned to nature maybe. They were in dark apprentice in 1994, maybe something earlier.

Worldwide releases aren't nearly as lucrative due to localization costs and fees. Box office doesn't include tax by the way, it's raw revenue from ticket sales. The actual money made depends on the negotiation with theatres, however that position drops dramatically upon each flop. The flipside in disney's case is to make big budgets to attract attention and improve box office they did things such as buy tickets to their own films back a decade ago. Plus we don't usually get any kind of real accounting for real numbers. Then you have merchandising which might be a vehicle for outside profit or indeed losses of their own.
