 @jakesherron2390 you haven't read the x wing series, great fun. Dune is a bit heavy and shallow, with only a handful of novels. Star wars EU competed with warhammer 40k for example.

Strictly speaking, masters lose most fights they're in with force sensitives. Qui gon, yoda, windu, obi wan, luke even didn't exactly beat sidious. The entire jedi council came to naboo to look at maul's body and see what happened to the master, though. Maybe nobody liked her?
