If you mean physical impact, the Russian Tsar Bomba, if you mean technological, greece was 1500 years in advance of anyone else, and Britain invented steam power, industry, and computers and just about everything you can imagine, from fiddly geary bits to things that make your loo work. France isnt far behind, with great contributions from mechanical calculator to automobiles, photography, not to mention art, France and italy and so on. Sorry did you mention a country? OK i was a little harsh :)
