I've always viewed him like this. Nonetheless, I'm still glad he bought twitter. If they crash and burn together, so much the better.

Call it 'Towing the Line'
38
And ships were wind powered.
13
Absolutely, but reading around many people have been touting the incompressibility of water as a reason it would happen slowly and this mops all that up.

Strictly a classical telescope is a folding spyglass.
10
I think it is important to observe. Everyone is unfortunately capable of doublethink without noticing. Bad examples are also great learning tools.
9
Its on the bottom. Works about as well.
7
What about 'jurassic park' didn't scream 'public execution' to you? Live performances!
7
You are right, it IS expresso.
7
@Poodleinacan that's the idea
6
I don't think the horse it dead, it keeps sprouting new heads.
6
Yes, a kettle uses a huge amount of power, usually only for a minute. A regular winch on a 12v motor can lift 4.5 ton, at 120/15A you'd be talking minutes not hours even for 20 ton
5
It'd have a high energy density at least.
5
I'm pretty sure many already do. You can even use mechanical regeneration with a flywheel that used to be done with buses even. The biggest issue here is... its a brake van. Most trains brake on each car now. This is the big impediment. You need generators/motors in every car like an electric train.

@durshurrikun150 structural pillars for bridges packed out with cardboard i've seen. You don't have to trust, go visit china yourself. Take a trip to a ghost city.
4
@Okurkaarrgghh women leave the open plan kitchen???
4
Replace grid with a branching structure like a real city an then you're talking.
3
@UlshaRS turbines DO "use up the wind" and solar panels do cool the earth.
3
What makes you think it was a mistake?
3
Expresso is the english translation.

To be fair, it is basically what you do with a damaged knee to provide physio for it. I have chronic knee pain from 5 operations. I have to exercise it else the pain gets worse but it also hurts to exercise it. Thus i have a tonne of codeine and it is in general pretty shit. It is people like me they are trying to fleece, as you start getting pretty damn desperate, especially if you have a anti painkiller/opiates doctor, its safe to say i would've ended it by now without pain relief. To come off pain relief would be fantastic in itself, the relief certainly isn't free. And who wants to employ someone who regularly misses several days sleep, or is visibly doped up? So if i didn't have a great wife this would be months of below minimum wage illegal but negotiable jobs to save up for which i occasionally take when i lose all self respect without doing something. There isn't much i wouldn't do. Yeah these people make me sick.

I don't laugh at people trying their hardest to understand the world and not being afraid to rock the consensus. Bell curves leave people on the other side of it, and i believe even a slow brain can happen upon a great idea. I just feel sorry for them.

Chain of apartment blocks

I find the worse crime is those who are stupid and have no curiosity, who never wonder about the world. You can tell these people's cogs are spinning full tilt. I can't feel bad that they are trying their best. It feels like laughing at someone with a stutter. Just be patient.
2
Because only twats and Italians call it that. It is EXpresso in the civilized, English speaking world.
2
Thunderfoot isn't a local authority or the WHO, or an 'official source' so youtube rightly according to their terms banned it. They banned a virologist's entire channel because he contradicted the WHO.
2
You took away you didn't add anything. If you didn't need a fridge then you added. If you already had then you took away...
2
Such as lego licence bricks xD
2
Veritasium is terrible for this sort of thing. He's either wrong or his explanation is for huge swathes of his work.
2
Tesla carlift will be unveiled 2034.
2
They are high class mosquitoes.
2
@kleinjahr jameson, pronounced "jammyson"
2
Shaman call the lightning. Science can't explain that. XD
2
Fans don't add rolling resistance either. Mounting to a 60t train car absolutely does.
2
Try this with helium 3 in a hydrogen atmosphere. Exception proves the rule ;) For casuals, helium 3 unusually rides up the walls of its container and would escape without a lid. It also can inhabit the same place as another helium 3 molecule so they can theoretically 'stack'. It is a very bizare substance. Feel free to correct if my explanation is pants.

An API? Of course, standard practice then. It was always meant to be used by the public, though.
2
I would pay good money to see a near tictac sized object extrude several mls of ectoplasm at velocity.
2
Not fair. They are trying to understand the world. Many don't bother. What is worse, trying to think and failing or never trying at all? A 30 year old graduate and reporter looked out of his plane window and tweeted ʾI wonder what causes those strange shapes'... they were clearly farms. Better late than never i guess. But then you have those perhaps without formal education that wonder about everything. Some get it wrong, but so what? Even slow minds have great ideas, it just tends to take longer. And sometimes ideas are so simple you forget to think of them. And you can't argue it is a good way to learn about the scientific method and logical fallacies to study to heir arguments and rebut them. Plus it helps teach you how to approach various audiences with differing academic prowess. Their belief isn't generally very harmful compared to others.

Shaman call de lighting! Science can't explain that!

In Japan they had them at small. If only that's all they sold it on. Negative air pressure miniature dryer has some charm as a product.
1
A beam, for safety, should be contained in a protective structure. We could call it a 'wire.' If only there was some way to make them bendy...
1
It isn't fine, he broke both rules
1
@LeoStaley he does in this one say how it fills the point and it works role, but there are too many better options even for that.
1
In english it IS spelt expresso you millennial buffoon.
1
Millennial. English word is EXpresso, italian word Espresso. Comprendere?
1
I was thinking cogged rail too. Would have to be somewhere with just the one mountain, idk Kilimanjaro or something.
1
@apple-cv2xj bullcrap. TV shows and news are entertainment, they aren't real.
1
Are you surprised? Its like picking on the special needs kid at school.
1
Some did xD it is more complex design wise than using the poisonous radioactive alternatives, and somewhat more volatile.
1
Only twats use the Italian. Expresso is what everyone but millenials call it.
