Modern technology has made nigh on every element of 'tradwifing' easy or redundant, but I disagree that it means no job- traditionally you'd be responsible for making clothes or feeding the animals or tending the vegetable garden etc whatever you are skilled at then taking your oversupply to the market.
Trophy housewives were a rare thing and today, with much of the manual labour removed, much more dangerous to your mental health. Especially if you don't homeschool, you don't want tradition, you want to be lazy and make aesthetic tiktoks.
Imagine having to make your family's clothes, hand wash, mangle and whiten them, wash dishes, make all food without a 'mix' tend the fire and make firewood, empty the chamber pots, carry the groceries home on foot, make reed candles, beat the rugs, wash the dishes, and manage the finances/accounting and so much more. All whilst being full time childcare.
